A Commitment Lock reserves your place and counts toward the final cost when the listing is confirmed. After the refund window closes, a cleared lock is not refundable unless a Longship rule below applies.
A pending Commitment Lock can be refunded inside its listed refund window. Your activity shows the exact deadline in the listing's local time.
A post-confirmation forfeit or missed final balance can forfeit paid lock value and affect Standing. Your activity updates after payment or refund confirmation.
A replacement request can release your place only through the replacement workflow. Successful replacements are neutral for streaks and can create recovery credit when the rules allow it.
Expedition Credits are non-cash Longship credit. Standard credits can cover up to 25% of an eligible balance. Replacement recovery credits are the approved exception: they can be applied above that 25% cap, up to the remaining eligible balance. Credits are not transferable and cannot pay initial Commitment Locks.
When Longship records a material change, eligible members can stay or take the configured refund path. Cash refunds and restored credits follow the rules shown here.
Final balances use the exact due time shown for your listing. Checkout and reminders use that same deadline.
